A VOLUNTEER COUNSELLOR
OUR PLACEMENTS
To become a Volunteer Counsellor with Care To Listen, please see our downloadable application form on this page. We accept applications for voluntary counsellor positions from student counsellors as well as experienced and qualified counsellors who may be looking to gain hours towards accreditation or who want to gain experience in a supported agency. We offer volunteer placements in our Low Cost, and Psychodynamic services.
We also have a placement brochure which may answer some commonly asked questions about our placements, a copy of that can be read here.
We’d love to hear from volunteer counsellors looking for their first or second placement. We run friendly recruitment sessions throughout the year and are always happy to welcome new applicants.
Counsellors who work with us are expected to see clients both in person from our South Croydon office and online.
In return we offer excellent quality supervision, a supported and friendly clinical team to guide you through your client work and a friendly community of peers to work alongside.
