We treat everyone with the utmost respect and every client can explore their thoughts and feelings without fear of being judged. We have strong connections with the NHS, and we pride ourselves on delivering a quality low-cost counselling service and mental health support which is accessible and affordable to all. Care To Listen specialises across the breadth of counselling issues, which could include relationships, bereavement, anxiety and depression, trauma and low self-esteem, amongst many others. By looking at the ways people think, behave and feel, together we can explore what aspects of a person’s life could be changed to solve particular problems.

How We Can Help
Train With Us

We regularly work with clients from across South-East London, including Croydon, Sutton, and Purley. If you are looking for support with your mental health, please feel free to browse our website to get a feel for our services.  All of our counsellors have the professionalism required to provide confidential and empathic therapy sessions, designed to meet the needs of each individual client. Sessions are face to face. Telephone counselling is available for the elderly, housebound, disabled or carers. We provide an integrative counselling service which incorporates cognitive behavioural therapy, person-centred therapy and psychodynamic therapy, giving you the opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings with someone who will hear and understand you without judging you. We will discuss steps you can take to make sense of the difficulties you face in order to alleviate its effects, encourage personal growth, and develop a fresh outlook on life. Contact us in confidence if you would like to discuss your mental health and the benefits of counselling with one of our counsellors. Care To Listen are commissioned by SLaM – South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust – to provide counselling as part of Croydon’s IAPT Improving Access to Psychological Therapies service.

Care To Listen update March 2021

Care To Listen have continued to offer both on line and telephone counselling throughout the corona virus pandemic and have delayed any thoughts of returning to face to face sessions until restrictions have been lifted

We have given serious consideration to when we reopen and believe that it’s right to wait until the Government suggest it’s safe to do so.

We think we must be closer to re opening now that many people have had the vaccine and the infection rate has started to drop, we just need it to stay that way.

We acknowledge the increase in people experiencing mental health issues brought on or exacerbated by the Covid -19 pandemic and we have increased our capacity to offer support as quickly as possible.

Please call 07931 117064 or email [email protected] for more information or to book sessions.

It’s best not to leave any messages on our office answer phone as nobody is able to pick them up at present
