Talking Therapies
Talking therapies give you a confidential setting in which to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences. Care To Listen provides different therapeutic approaches, including integrative counselling, psychodynamic counselling and CBT.
Cognitive behavioural therapy focuses on the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviours, while psychodynamic counselling provides an opportunity to explore experiences and patterns that may be influencing how you feel or relate to others.
Couples & Relationship Counselling
Relationship difficulties can affect communication, emotional wellbeing and everyday life. Couples therapy provides a dedicated space in which you and your partner can explore concerns affecting your relationship with the support of a counsellor.
Our couples and relationship counselling service is available for people who want to better understand difficulties within their relationship and have a structured setting in which to talk about them.
Neuro-Affirmative Counselling Service
Our neuro-affirmative counselling service provides accessible therapeutic support for neurodiverse clients. The approach recognises and respects neurodiversity rather than treating differences as something that automatically needs to be changed.

Care To Listen supports neurodiverse clients, including people with ADHD and autism, through understanding and tailored therapeutic approaches.
Sandplay Therapy
Sandplay therapy offers a creative therapeutic approach and another way of exploring thoughts, emotions and experiences within counselling.
For some people, expressing an experience through words alone can be difficult. Sandplay provides an alternative form of therapeutic exploration alongside the talking therapies available through Care To Listen.
Affordable Counselling and Low-Cost Therapy
As a counselling charity, Care To Listen aims to make professional therapy more accessible and affordable. Rather than charging a single session fee, we ask clients to donate what they can comfortably afford within the suggested ranges, based on their earnings and income.

Every donation helps us continue providing low-cost therapy, maintain our practice building and keep the counselling service running.
