It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to Care To Listen School of Counselling (CTLSC). At Care To Listen, we have many years’ experience of delivering counselling to a wide and diverse population. As a placement provider, we pride ourselves on developing grounded, knowledgeable and competent counsellors, and we bring this same passion and experience to our school. Our aim is to provide practical, reflective, practice-based counselor training via our Level 2 & 3 CPCAB accredited counseling courses.
At our school, we provide you with a safe, supportive space where you can develop your helping skills and gain a deeper understanding of yourself, whilst undertaking your counseling courses. Our hope is that you will also be challenged and stimulated as you progress through your chosen programme of study.

Certificate in Counselling Skills – Level 2 (CSK-L2):
To be considered for this course you will be required to complete an application form, attend an interview and a group assessment to ensure that this is the right course for you. This is likely to be online.

Day: Friday
Duration: 18 weeks

This qualification is designed to give learners the underpinning knowledge, skills and competencies to use counselling skills ethically and safely in a variety of contexts and roles.
This qualification is for:
- Those starting the first level of training as a professional counsellor.
- Those who want to learn counselling skills in other professional or helping roles.
- Those who want to improve their professional and personal relationships as part of personal development.
This qualification could lead to employment or increase employability for those whose role is to support others in e.g. health and social care work, teaching and learning, advocacy and mediation, support and project work, other helping roles.
It provides additional skills for those already in employment likely to lead to increased opportunities for promotion and advancement.
Fees:
• £975, discounted to £925 on full payment on enrolment
• £375 on enrolment with 2 further payment of £300 total £975

To be considered for this course you will be required to complete an application form, attend an interview and a group assessment to ensure that this is the right course for you.

This qualification is intended for candidates who have already acquired a recognised qualification in counselling skills (such as the Certificate in Counselling Skills Level 2 or equivalent) and want to:
• Take the next step in training to become a counsellor.
• Learn more about counselling theory, ethics and mental health.
• Be prepared for work as a professional counsellor in an agency setting.
This qualification does not directly lead to employment as a counsellor. It is designed as a pre-practitioner training for professional counselling qualifications, but it could lead to employment in a related field.
