the Care to Listen School of Counselling
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to Care To Listen School of Counselling (CTLSC). At Care To Listen, we have many years’ experience of delivering counselling to a wide and diverse population. As a placement provider, we pride ourselves on developing grounded, knowledgeable and competent counsellors, and we bring this same passion and experience to our school. Our aim is to provide practical, reflective, practice-based counsellor training.
At our school, we provide you with a safe, supportive space where you can develop your helping skills and gain a deeper understanding of yourself, whilst undertaking your course. Our hope is that you will also be challenged and stimulated as you progress through your chosen programme of study.

Certificate in Counselling Skills - Level 2 (CSK-L2):
This course is the Level 2 Counselling Skills certificate.
This qualification is for:
- Those starting the first level of training as a professional counsellor;
- Those who want to learn counselling skills in other professional or helping roles;
- Those who want to improve their professional and personal relationships as part of personal development;
- This qualification will NOT teach candidates how to be counsellors but it will help them decide whether or not they want to train as a counsellor and it will give them counselling skills that are useful in a variety of roles e.g. care assistant, key worker, support worker.
The course will run once a week on Fridays for 15 weeks at Ashburton Hall in Addiscombe. The start date will be confirmed soon.
The cost of the course is £975, which can be paid in instalments over 3 months.
