Meet the Management Team
OPERATIONS SERVICE DIRECTOR
Eve is a co-founder of Care To Listen and a qualified counsellor. As well as managing the day to day running of the organisation, Eve works closely with Sharon developing the organisation into a widely respected low-cost counselling service. Eve qualified as a counsellor at Bromley College in 2007 and holds a Higher National Diploma in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy. Eve gained BACP accreditation in 2010.
CLINICAL SERVICE DIRECTOR
Sharon is a co-founder of Care To Listen and Clinical Service Director, responsible for overseeing all clinical matters and providing first-hand support to the large team of counsellors. Sharon is a qualified EMDR therapist and Supervisor, holds a Higher National Diploma in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy, and is BACP Accredited.
Denise brings to Care To Listen her considerable wealth of management experience from her previous role as a senior career civil servant and Diplomat for Her Majesty’s UK Government. Her role is to oversee the effective management of the organisation, ensuring that clients and counsellors’ day-to-day needs are met, as well as providing front-line support to the management team.
CLINICAL TEAM LEADER
As a Clinical Team Leader, Vanessa provides invaluable support to the counselling team and Lead Counsellors. Vanessa worked as a workplace counsellor for 10 years before joining Care To Listen in 2013. Vanessa also provides CBT and IAPTS training and is BACP Accredited. Vanessa graduated from //Greenwich University with a MSc in Therapeutic counselling – MSc MBACP [Accred] in 2015.
We have a small cohort of qualified lead counsellors, providing daily support for the wider team.
We have a large team of counsellors who bring many different skills to our service. They are at various stages of their training or are qualified and have been recruited from leading colleges and universities. We have both male and female counsellors, from many different backgrounds and ethnicities.
Our qualified counsellors are working towards additional qualifications and accreditation.
Our counsellors are selected for their caring and professional approach as well as their commitment to providing a high quality, low- cost counselling service for all.
Care To Listen is very proud of our admin team, most of whom work on a part-time basis and provide first class clerical support to our Service Directors, Practice Manager, as well as our counsellors and clients.
The admin team are frequently supported by volunteers recruited from other local organisations, offering the opportunity to increase their skills and work experience before looking for paid employment. Please get in touch with us if you are interested in a volunteer admin role.
Care To Listen is an organisational member of the BACP and are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling & Psychotherapy.
Care To Listen publish an Annual Report as a means of sharing information about our services, development plans and future intentions. This report is available for all to read and can be downloaded here.
