Relationship Counselling
Couples frequently turn to counselling as a last resort; they think they have tried everything and feel there is nowhere else to turn. Either one or both partners can experience depression or anxiety at some point during their life which can adversely affect their relationship and the ability to interact with each other. This familiar scenario happens all too often and we strongly recommend seeking counselling before reaching this point. We can help you to approach your problems in a different way and change the behavioural patterns that lead to conflict.
- Do you feel you cannot bring up a subject without an argument?
- Do you feel you just keep going round in the same circles?
- Do you find it hard to reach any agreement or compromise?
- Do you feel that anything you discuss ends up in another argument?
- Do you feel there is nothing more to say?
If the answer is yes to any of the above, then here is how we can help:
We give you the chance for your voice to be heard in order for you to express your feelings, frustrations and anxieties so that they can be brought out into the open. In doing so, both of you can understand each other's points of view which will give you the opportunity to change things before it's too late. We acknowledge that it can be hard to "open-up" and so that's why we provide a non-judgemental, objective and impartial platform in order for you to express your feelings. Discussing relationship problems within this environment can often resolve your differences and will remind you why you fell in love in the first place and will encourage you to fight for the relationship. Nothing in life worth having comes easy!
